 "Houghton Regis Town Council wishes to extend its deepest condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family on the passing of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

As a nation, we celebrate his years of distinguished service and outstanding commitment to our country.

We join with fellow citizens, both at home and across the Commonwealth, in mourning his loss”.

Houghton Regis Town Council Offices

10am – 4pm

Monday 12th April – Friday 16th April.

An online Bedfordshire Book of Condolence for HRH The Duke of Edinburgh is now available for those who wish to send a personal message of condolence and can be accessed at: www.royal.rip

Flags are being flown at half mast in accordance with national guidelines.

Flowers may be laid in private at The Memorial Stone on the Village Green, but we ask that these not be wrapped in cellophane where possible. 

The Royal Family has expressly asked that instead of floral tributes, people might consider instead giving a donation to a charity of their choice (https://www.royal.uk/donations).
