I would like to introduce myself. I am Jimmy Carroll and l have lived on Parkside since 1974 and before that lived in Tithe Farm from 1962.

My Parents moved from North London where I was born in 1959.

I was educated at Thornbury Infants School. Hillsborough Junior School. Queensbury Upper School.

I had a number of driving jobs until I joined the Bedfordshire Ambulance Service in November 1982 as a Patient Transport Driver. I moved on to front line Ambulance duties and qualified as an Ambulance Technician 8th June 1984. Changing role of the Ambulance Service, I qualified in Extended Ambulance Training Skills 29th April 1988. I then qualified as an Ambulance Paramedic with the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Ambulance Service on the 27th November 1992. 

I left the Ambulance Service in November 1999. I worked for the AA as a Recovery Patrol from January 2000 until 2010. I am presently employed as a HGV driver for Luton Borough Council.

I have had many local interests over the years. These have been Scout and Cub Scouts, the Houghton Regis Memorial and the Houghton Regis Carnival.

I was first elected to Town Council in July 2014 in a by election and have been relected in two elections since.
