The Town Council will be holding its first Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group meeting on Monday 17th July at 7.30pm here at the Town Council offices (Peel Street).

Parking is available in the nearby car park in Tithe Farm Road. The Parish faces a number of challenges, from adapting to the proposed new growth north of the town, to improving facilities within the Town, protecting the countryside around Sewell and future use of the Quarry.

The Town Council would like to engage with local communities to enable them to influence decision-making, in order to make a real difference in their area. The Town Council believes that this community led approach is fundamentally what locality is all about – an opportunity for you to provide your opinions and comments on the draft Neighbourhood Plan.

If you would like to join us please call the offices on 01582 708540 or email to register your interest in attending.

Alternatively if you cannot make the meeting but would like to be kept informed on the progress of the Plan then please contact us giving us your details so that we can send updates as we go.

For information, contact details will only be used in connection with the Neighbourhood Plan and will not be passed to any third party and will be securely destroyed once the Plan is adopted.

Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2016 will be open to public inspection at the Town council offices between the hours of 9am to 5pm from 21st June 2017 to 1st August 2016 inclusive. Read the full notice here.
